Dyson DC 16 Handheld Vacuums

The Dyson DC16 fills a niche that was missing from the Dyson line of vacuums, and that is for a handheld vacuum with the same power as other Dyson models.  While some are extremely happy with their choice for a handheld vacuum from Dyson, others have found some flaws with this models.

First off, as far as a vacuum goes, this model is a 5 out of 5.  The suction is great and the included tools are great.  The vacuum comes with a combination accessory tool and a crevice tool for getting into hard to reach corners.  The canister is also easy to empty and clean, and easy to reassemble.  The battery charges much faster than other handheld vacuums.

The main complaint is the battery life.  The vacuum only gets 10-15 minutes of good suction power and then starts to fade.  As long as you are not vacuuming your entire house by hand, it is not that bad but can be a minor annoyance.  A backup battery pack or lithium battery would really help this product out.
