Dyson DC 17 - absolute
The level 3 cyclone technology of the DC17 by Dyson trumps the suction power of all previous models. If you are super serious about having a clean living space, then this is the product for you. We tested this vacuum on a carpeted floor that had recently been steam cleaned. The steam cleaner may be great on surface dirt, but the Dyson DC17 pulls up dirt that is hidden below the surface!
Unlike other vacuums, this one is very quiet for the amount of force that it must produce to get the suction power that is displays. It's not the quietest, but for the amount of power, it is not too noisy. Our only complaint is that it isn't the lightest vacuum around.
As for a bagless vacuum, this one is very easy to empty and easy to clean. Like other Dyson models, it will become clogged if you don't clean it from time to time.
Overall this is another great model from Dyson and one that is sure to last a long time if taken care of. When it comes to vacuum, Dyson is a company that just always seems to get it right.
